yeay first comment ana... yes i totally agree these series are supposedly spreading awarness but i feel they are jsut giving the wrong message abt islam and confirming the "dishdasheh li7yeh" stereoptype.. so now whenver u see a guy with a beard wearing a dishdasheh u have to wonder if he is a terrorist! argh.. i thinke all the media s conrolled by jews/americans..

هل يملك القائمون على هذه الأعمال الخلفية الشرعية أولا ليتمكنوا من الخوض في مسألة حساسة كهذه؟ بالاجابة على هذا السؤال و النظر إلى المسميات التي اختاروها لأعمالهم هذه نستطيع أن نقول أنهم لم يخدموا الإسلام.

كما أن الإرهاب ليس إسلاما فالتفلت ايضا ليس إسلاما.

It's the new moda of the media (and the bloggers!) to talk about Jihad and Islam as if it's all about terror. Actually we should teach the Arab then we can make programs to provide knowledge to non Arabs.,

I think for the mean while they have to do some series to teach the world about Islam and how the muslims live with it in every day in their lifes (modern and educated life) then show the people who handle it wrongly

as bad as our media is, I think it's still better than what it is in the US. The level of discussion and difference in opinion provided at Arabic channels is much more diverse, as opposed to what it is in the West (not all of it) where much of it is controlled. On the other hand, in the West. BUT, you do raise a great point that we're still not mature in terms of what we present and how we present it. Sometimes I wonder if it's all about getting ratings, that's why the focus is not necessarily being constructive, but rather to just sell.
