You reminded me of a very old fun tom&jerry game on the pc where they run around the house..I think I still got it somewhere,iza la2aitha bab3atlek yaha.

Tom was portrayed good in many episodes as I recall,so I guess he has the shadow thing ur talking about..same goes for jerry as he had many evil shows.

I mean Jerry is evil, Tom would usually leave Jerry alone but the latter begs for attention

I was actually watching it the other day. I watch it whenever I get a chance. I talked about it with a friend and while I was defending Tom, my friend was defending Jerry. He sarcastically said: Well yeah Jerry is the evil one, and Tom is all innocent. He is only trying to eat Jerry! All poor Jerry wants is to live. But you see Tom would not try to eat Jerry if Jerry left Tom alone, right? Oh I am being even more philosophical than you You made a good point though, a mouse is dirty while a cat is a domestic pet. GO TOM

i find Jerry cute and SMART , he knows how to get away with it! i think Tom has to learn how to do that.

Salam,

I think Jerry being the good guy has a lot to do with the "big/fat cats don't always win" notion. Maybe it's just the whole biblical David and Goliath being played out, Goliath was the giant yet he lost to the faithful David. It is a somewhat embedded belief in most human socities that the weak--if equipped with a higher moral goal--can defeat the strong.

Doesn't Jerry almost always come across as the smarter one? Maybe it really is true: Size (read: strength, power, wealth, social status et cetera) does not matter; as long as you got soul!
