That is such a touching story. So beautiful, I almost teared. They actually burned Palestinian's ids at the bridge? Was that the only way to get rid of their legal rights to the land? Can they burn their memories too and make sure that everyone that was kicked out of Palestine to never speak of it again? What kind of unethical way of handling things. Burning id's will not diminish our existence.

You can't imagine the number of similarities the story of your grandmother has with my own grandmother. That’s exactly what happened. Her husband died, and she was left alone to fend off her 6 children. Powered only by her will to live, her handiwork as a tailor. She would work and work, until she couldn’t see or feel anything anymore … Next day, she would do everything all over again

My father was the youngest of them

It was such a tragedy but one that everyone came out triumphant of life over death. Will to live over hatred and oppression.

Rebillious Arab Girl: that's not beyond them you know. Mt father and his siblings had no identification documents whatsoever coming to Jordan, their ages had to be estimated

Quwaider: I think every Palestinian woman has a story worth telling!
