Mohammed, I've had a simply amazing year, can I share even if I am a follower of Jesus Christ and give him credit for what has happened?

I've been a full-time mom for ten years, learning to love serving my husband and kids in a joyfully sacrificial way. That is a miracle, and something I begged God to bless me with,as I was raised to be a career woman and am normally quite selfish.

I had a very sad and dysfunctional upbringing, but since I have become a follower of Christ, he has turned even the very worst of my past into a blessing to help other people with the same problems. They can look at the miracle of my life and have hope for change. This year, I have been able to help 100 Jordanian, Iraqi and Egyptian women to seek His power for change through a course that helped me..

Just over a year ago I was given an opportunity to write for several Jordanian magazines, even though I am dyslexic, never finished college, and never learned English grammer. It is a miracle of God that He chose to make strong what was a weakness. I wake up every morning asking for more miracles to bless his people.

I have not ever though of the occasion of Hijra from the perspective you have used here! I really like your analysis and the conclusion you brought out, and how you related it to your own life.

Asslamo Alikum Wr Wb..
how are you brother Khawaja? I hope you and Hama Are doing well:) give her my Salam.
and I wish you all blessed Hijra year, I know I'm late sorry:(

The amazing thing that you talked about is, the matter of the t3arof.
setting with people from other cultures ,countries and sure with different backgrounds make the whole thing not just amazing; but more.
Expressing the greatness of Islam on the eyes of the others is a blessing from Allah to you brother, giving you the ability to talk to them, to discuss the most sensitive issues with them is a test from allah, I hope you did well at that test :)
and I know you would,
JAK for your effort and may Allah accept yur deeds Ameen.

Assalamo 3alaykom,

Khawaja, thanks alot for this enlightening post, you really enriched us with this simple, yet important and impressive experience.

Again, thank you, and yes I did start with things where people didn't believe in me and I proved myself.

I can tell you Mohammed for sure after some bad or hard experiences I had in this life: Being a Muslim is the greatest grace we've been granted, a grace we cinsider rtuly when we look at those who can't find their way.

May Allah bless you young man.

I liked what Mriam said:"An attitude I hate so much in both western people & extremists is that They want you to change to gain their respect, but I believe that we should respect each other as we are!, shouldn't we?".

Yes we should..

Actually I don't have any (big) achievements to talk about.. but I have that believe of "I am going to do SOMETHING"

It is not easy to move alone though, but it is the only available way for me at the current time..

I was viewing a sequence of blogs when I stopped by here.. :)
