The reason illiterate scum keep throwing crap like this at us is that they find an audience that not read their crap, “enjoy” reading it, and recommends it too!!
Do you really think that “al sheikh” can write at the third grade level?
The excerpts you were most impressed by are an analogy of a deer and a lion (at the kindergarten level), and boasting about a useless “tourism project”!! I guess it IS a great book.
(And by the way, it is IMPOSSIBLE to see The great wall of China nor the Hoover Dam from outer space, even if you had Maktoom’s “Vision”.)
Can’t wait to hear your review of (Al ard al-ard, al qarya al qarya, wa inti7ar ra2id alfada2).

asalam 3alaykom,allah yehdeek ya abu shreek..
i don't know what exactly do you want..you mean to devalue every arabic figuer today..first khalidah's post about queen rania ,and now this..
how come you are so insightfull when it comes to royalty and leaders..?!
any way ..if you slightly care about religion i would like to tell you that talking badly about a celeberty doesn't make it any less GHAYBA..
and that sin requires forgivness from the person himself..
I don't think you are gonna meet queen rania or sheikh maktoum soon!!
and if you did..please tell them i said hi..

I wonder if this is his "vision" or someone else's. I highly doubt that, although being articulate in the Arabic language, this man is able to formulate his level and abstract ideas like this.
Anyway, the Great Wall cannot be seen from space. It seems this man, despite his wealth and access to knowledge and advisors, forgot to check a simple fact.

Abu Shareek!
First: this person is well-educated, he is not coming out of a tent, and he knows well how to speak, write, & comment on others' thoughts.
Second: The analogy is an art, if you start to learn it @ kindergarten level that does not mean it is low level! unless you know nothing about literature and education.
Third: This person did & still doing something for his nation, Dubai has many leading industries in the region, they are not just consumers.. Dubai has not grown up due to the existence of oil, its land has not a single drop of oil, This developement was due to the strategy, and vision that brought out the best of what they have to whole world and they desrve to be proud of their achievements.
Fourth: If the great wall and the other landscapes are not visible from the moon, no problem at all!, at least they did something visible on earth, and enshallah, with his vision, oneday they would build other cities on the moon! itself so that you can see them with your naked eye:)

Khawaja,
Don't be too naive by trying to be a good Muslim (usually people who want to become Muslims think that being naive is a good start).
This man is the biggest hypocrite of all Arab leaders. He owns dirt businesses (gambling industry, sex industry...etc). I know because a friend of mine audits some accounts in Dubai. Dont take it from me, ask how does betting in Europe happen on horse races in Dubai.
He also hosts not only an American base, but a British and a Canadian one. Ever heard of Canada having military bases outside Canada? Well here is a first.
He also services the US Navy more than any other port in the whole Middle East! Even more than Qatar.
And by the way, if you dont believe the US bases exist in UAE, google the U-1 Spy Plane that crashed a year ago in the UAE desert while coming back from a mission spying on Iran. Those spy planes are only placed in 3-4 military bases around the world. Tells you a lot about the importance of UAE's military base, and how huge it is.

3azeezi Mo7ammad,
I don’t think there was a need to refrain to name calling (“you know nothing about literature and education”, ‘negative” and “enjoy criticizing” and others. I just gave my opinion on your role model, who I don’t think is a very rightous man and his experience is not worth reading about (unless the book included tips on multi million dollars horse breeding). I just don’t see the significance in Dubai’s “accomplishments” in the areas of tourism and leisure. I don’t see the factories and the developmental industries. All I see is a bunch of worthless over-expansion in the services sector (some people choose to refer to it as prostitution).
If you think that the likes of this personality should be a the example for the Arab resurrection then good for you, but I don’t, and I hope you respect my vision.

Hi Mohammad ,
Last time I read a book like that was a year ago. Actually it was the diary of the grandfather of a friend of mine. It was so original and true because he wrote that in his own language and deed he had a lot of wonderful things to share. So I am just wondering whether his highness wrote his book in his own words or not.
Dear Abu shreek, It's always good to read these things if we have time to and Mohammad K. wanted to talk about his experience up above. Sometimes being so sarcastic just turns things to the opposite track.
Nice template Mohammad :)

Mohammad Bin Rashed has written this book straight from his heart. you can easily sense the passions he has toward making Dubai a center of excellence to the whole world in trade & Industry.

I've been to Dubai and it's a fake city, full of racism and inequality. your salary will depend on your nationality and your skin colour. It's a system that is based on class and money. shame on you mohamad al maktoum.

ok my name is hossam hi every one.
i have one comment about what some of you said about Mohammed bin Rashid not being able to write such a book, that's because most of the emirates' students intend to be careless in every thing, not highly educated, just rich.
but i'll ask you something, there are even emirates in this country, they all have money, why do you think Dubai is the most developed one of them all?
ed3oooly, insha' allah to be with my beloved, and that i can finish studying quickly and get to marry her.
pleaaaaaaaaase ed3oly
thanks every1
