Now isn't this just the cutest thing? (By far, just to be politically correct)

I found this is a store called Gift Box in Mecca Mall, each time I look at it bouncing from side to side it's as though my heart bounces with it! It makes me so happy and makes me think of all the things I have and thank Allah for them, yes, this small bouncing plastic sun flower means that deep to me!

And get this, it runs on solar energy, so I figured: why not get on of these and put it in the car on on your desk or any where else, a way of saying that you're all for environmentally friendly solutions and the use of alternative energy resources...

It comes in different colors and shapes, and no I'm not doing e-marketing for the store! it's really nice isn't it?

Relax, this is not a study conducted by the British Institution for whatever, it's just an observation, you know I do some self-exploring from time to time, I get upset with myself for reading less or writing less or even not doing either for a while, and I've been so hard at work wasting my time lately... Seriously I changed my facebook status 3 times today at work, well I know I was bored but still, I do spend a lot of time idling here and there around the web even at home, and I get even bored doing that but laziness accompanied with useleless curiosity is fatal..

So I was thinking the other day how I soent less time writing or blogging, and I discovered something. Before, when I came across something interesting I used to start mentally blogging it right away, I would ramble on and on and come out with a post about it, while now, I can just cut it short to a few lines and write it as a status or a tweet! Not a good thing I guess

For example, today I consumed a massive amount of sugar, so I was just thinking "My liver and kidneys must be so hard at work trying to process or the sugar and artificial colors and what not", this could fit into a status, but maybe if I think more one thought might lead to another and we end up with something about health or diets or Tubby or a story or anything, I don;t know...

So, here are some random things that could go as a status or a tweet, but I choose to blog them:

1- I was so happy today when I found Rass el3abed at the supermarket, it's one sign the weather is getting colder, and yes everyone loves Rass el3abed! (Although I'm not comfortable with the name it's kind of racist, I once wrote something about that, I mean it's white in the inside and black in the outside, how more racist can it get?)

2- I HATE it just HATE it when I'm required to do something stupid, or at least seems stupid to me at work because the client or some other people in the company want it to be done that way! Demanding you to copypaste wrong translation and when you make some corrections they demand you to re-install the mistakes! Well, be my guest! But it feels good when you start ranting about it to your boss so he gives you a day off or some other kind of compensation...

3- Have you ever been sleepy but too lazy to get up and go to sleep? It heppens

4- I should really stop putting things off...

That's random enough for now, I guess I should shut the computer now and go about doing other stuff that don't involve typing or clicking!

And oh, potato is a good natural solution for bkack circles around the eyes, bleaches naturally

subtle Marketing, unsubtle consumers

I love pharmacies. Let me into a nice pharmacy where painkillers and skin care products are neatly shelved and categorized and you'll get a metaphor better yet than that kid in a candy store.

So today I went into a pharmacy with my friend Sarah, who shares my love for pharmacies, and as we were waiting in the line at the cash register, one of the workers at the pharmacies who was a girl probably in her twenties approached us. She asked us if wanted any help and we said that we were already done and waiting to pay. Then she started telling Sarah that they have a very good product for blackheads and make up removal. She took us to the lane were that product was and told us it was medical, not cosmetic. Sarah took it and went to the cash as I stayed there checking out other products. The pharmacist then came to me again and told me that they have a very good product for facial care and those black circles around the eyes, and she said it in a way that made me feel like I have oil fields around my eyes. I said I wasn't sleeping enough but then I thought to myself that I was actually sleeping relatively well which is kind of freaked me out a little bit because I was wondering what could be causing those black circles! Anyway I told it her it was nice to know about it but I didn't want to buy it just now.

So, after that we went to some clothes store and I was still thinking about those black circles so I went up to a mirror expecting to see something horrible, but to my relief there was nothing of the sort, I thought I was perfectly normal, el hamdu lellah! So I went to Sarah and told her that I was checking my face in the mirror because that lady freaked me out and she was like: DO I HAVE VERY VISIBLE BLACK HEADS? I took a good look at her face where blackheads usually appears, and I noticed that even though she was wearing some make up her face looked really clean of black heads!

Nonetheless, I'm still thinking of buying that black circles products, why? Because obviously the people who use these marketing strategies know what they're doing and with whom they are dealing… it's pathetic really
