Always charming warm simple and proud, queen Fairouz, our ambassador to the stars recently enlivened her old song play SAH ENNAWM (hope you had a good sleep) at the Biel forum in Beirut. She appeared as active and as enthusiatic about the play as the old days and of course the best voice ever.

When this singer first appeared on Melody Hits TV I thought that she had a good voice however her first two songs ALA TOOL and NAFESH REESHAK were not up to my expectations given my special taste for music that is confined to Fairouz, Majda El-Roumi and Julia Petrus.
Yet this song produced during the aggression on Lebanon has really added Karina Eid (aka KARINA) to my tops list. A great and outstanding video reflecting the sectarian divisions amongst the Lebanese youth and asking the great question WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BECOME LEBANESE?
Although this message is from Lebanon to Lebanon yet in the light of the current situation I feel it should be a message to all of us asking WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BECOME ARABS?
